Occasionally meetings need to be cancelled, or sometimes meetings just shouldn't have been there to begin with. Thats why we have multiple options to handle meetings that don't need to happen anymore.
Cancelling Meetings
Cancelled meetings are meetings that were scheduled and most likely due to unforeseen circumstances don't need to happen anymore. Cancelling a meeting in BlueSky keeps the meeting and its agenda in your meeting group and marks it as cancelled to everyone who views it.
Meetings can be cancelled anytime before minutes are entered and finalized. Once minutes have been finalized the meeting cannot be cancelled. Canceling a meeting cannot be undone.
To Cancel a meeting:
- Click on the meeting from your meeting group meetings listing
- Click on he Cancel Meeting Button in the Meeting Details
- Select whether or not to notify participants of the cancellation
Deleting Meetings
Deleted meetings are usually meetings accidentally created, or where the agenda needs to be started over. Deleting a meeting is permanent and causes the meeting to completely disappear. Participants cannot be notified of a deleted meeting. Meetings may be deleted at any stage.
